Vulgirra

VULGIRRA is a halloween collaboration project between Bora Demirbilek and Patrick Hart made in Unreal Engine 5. All sounds are generated with Metasounds, which are dynamically linked to the effigy, spontaneously making it come to life.

Vulgirra is a cryptid we created with roots in the ancient Sumerian mythology and rituals.

It is believed that if an effigy was to be made with bad faith and no ceremony, a vulgirra will form. Once they are kindled, they never stop burning until they embrace their makers.
